"Don’t expect cookie-cutter motels that lack personality in these parts. . .  We knew we had hit the B and B jackpot when we pulled into the driveway and innkeeper Mark was there to greet us. Co-innkeeper Kim soon followed, with lemonade and delectable home-baked cookies in hand. They live on-site in the house next door, and are always available. The Inn consists of 6 lovely guest rooms.  The two upstairs rooms share a bath and is an especially nice configuration for families, allowing for privacy and togetherness in just the right dose.  Spacious common areas, gardens and a fabulous hot tub added to our bliss.  They own several beautiful horses that you can gaze at from the serenity of the hot tub.  Guided trail rides through the scenic woods are a specialty at the Mahoosuc Inn, no previous experience necessary. . .  The hospitality that Mark and Kim presented, coupled with low-prices and a gorgeous setting, puts the Mahoosuc Inn on the top of my must-return-to list."

Lodging Policies:

All of our policies are designed to ensure the quality of stay for all of our guests and are subject to change without notice.

Check-in/Check-out

1. Check-in time is between 3:00 – 9:00 PM. 
2. If you will be arriving after 9:00 PM, you must contact us to make arrangements for your entrance.  This is to ensure our guests’ comfort as well as ensuring your ability to enter the inn. 
3. Check-out time is 11:00 AM.

Weekends and Holidays:  (exceptions may be made depending on availaibility)

1. There is a two-night minimum weekend stay
2. Holiday weekends require a three-night minimum

Deposits:

1. One night's lodging deposit is required to confirm your reservation.
2. Our acceptance of your reservation is made with the understanding you will be responsible for the entire period reserved.
3. Your deposit is applied to your last day of stay and the balance due is payable on arrival.
4. Your deposit will be forfeited if arrival is after the date specified or if you leave early and this results in a loss to the Inn.

Security:

1. A valid charge card is required prior to check-in as security. 
2. Any and all damages, missing items, and/or excessive cleaning discovered following check-out will be billed to your charge card and you will be notified by mail.

Peace and Quiet:

1. Peace & Quiet time is 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM in and around our accommodations.

We understand that life, weather, and ‘acts of god’ can always throw you a curve.  Our cancellation policy is as follows:

1. Deposit will be applied to an available date no later than 6 months of original reservation if cancellation is made before two weeks (14 days) of your reserved date.
2. Reservations made within two weeks of arrival date shall be considered non-transferable and will be charged to customer's card.

We love our pets, and we love children, but we all know that sometimes  kids can act like animals. It seems fitting that our pets and children policy go together. 

Pets and Children: 

1. Pets and well-behaved children are welcomed with responsible guests. 
2. They must remain under the control of the guest at all times and may not be left alone.  Our vendor page has a doggy daycare site listed.
3. Guest must be responsible for cleaning up after them – indoors and out, as well as for the cost of any damage caused by them.

Smoking:  For the health and comfort of all of our guests, we are a nonsmoking facility. 

1. Responsible smoking may occur at designated areas away from all buildings, decks, gathering areas, etc. 
2. All cigarette residue and waste must be placed in designated receptacles only. 
3. Irresponsible smoking may result in additional clean-up charges and/or being asked to leave without compensation.
